That conviction is rooted in a Christian understanding that every person is created in the image of God. It leads us to celebrate and connect people with organizations throughout our community that are caring for those in need, strengthening families, supporting neighbors through difficult circumstances, and making Charlottesville a better place to live.
Many of the organizations featured here are Christian. Others are not. What they share is meaningful work that serves people and strengthens our community.
